Getting Started & Navigation
Learn how to securely upload your results and navigate through the application effortlessly.
Uploading Result PDFs Upload
Upload your official KTU B.Tech or M.Tech result PDFs to instantly generate insights.
- Drag & Drop: Simply drag your PDF file into the designated upload area.
- Select File: Alternatively, click the upload box to browse your device for the PDF.
- Analyze: Once the file is selected, click 'Analyze Results' to start processing.
Dashboard Filter Options Filters
After your PDF is processed, you can drill down into specific data segments using the top dropdown filters.
- Academic Batch: Start by selecting an academic batch. The dashboard will instantly update all charts to reflect that year's data.
- Department: By default, this is set to "College Overview (All Departments)". Select a specific department to view analytics isolated to just that department.
- Subject: By default, this shows "Department Overview". Select a specific subject code to view exact performance details and grade distribution for that single subject.
Navigating the Dashboard Navigation
Use the intuitive sidebar to move between different sections of the application seamlessly.
- Upload New: Quickly return to the upload screen to process a new result file.
- Dashboard: Access your interactive charts, tables, and export options.
- Profile & Settings: Manage your account and toggle between light and dark modes.
Interactive Dashboard Analytics
Your parsed KTU data is visualized through powerful interactive charts. Here is how you can interact with them to gain deeper insights.
Grade Distribution Insights Pie Charts
The grade distributions are represented as interactive pie and doughnut charts.
- Hover to Reveal: Hover over any slice of the pie chart to instantly see the exact percentage and the total count of students for that specific grade.
- Dynamic Filtering: Click on any grade in the legend (e.g., 'F' or 'O') to temporarily hide it. The chart will automatically and mathematically recalculate the proportions based only on the remaining visible data.
Subject Performance Bar Graphs
Subject-wise performance is tracked using horizontal bar graphs. To keep the interface clean, the Y-axis displays abbreviated subject codes.
- Full Subject Names: Hover over any horizontal bar to trigger a tooltip that reveals the full, expanded name of the subject.
- Detailed Metrics: The hover state also displays the precise pass count, fail count, and the exact pass percentage for that specific subject.

Bulk ZIP Archive College Level
Download structured data for the entire institution in one go. You will receive a
compressed .zip file containing individual Excel sheets for every
department.
- Step 1: Select the Academic Batch from the top dropdown menu.
- Step 2: Leave the Department dropdown set to "College Overview (All Departments)".
- Step 3: Click the Download (Academic Batch Here) ZIP button that appears in the actions bar.
Department Excel Sheet Dept Level
Extract a highly structured, department-specific .xlsx file containing
student register numbers, grades, arrear info, pass percentages, and grade distribution.
- Step 1: Select the Academic Batch from the dropdown.
- Step 2: Select a specific Department (e.g., Computer Science, Mechanical).
- Step 3: Click the Download Excel Sheet (Selected Academic Year) button in the actions bar.

Due to the serverless nature of our hosting platform, generated files are not stored permanently.
- Auto-Deletion: All uploaded PDFs, generated Excel sheets, and ZIP files are automatically deleted from memory shortly after processing.
- Act Fast: Please ensure you download your required ZIP files and Excel sheets immediately after generation.
- Reprocessing: If you miss the window, you will need to re-upload your PDF to generate the files again.
PDF Report Generation
Generate visually stunning academic performance reports as PDFs. Similar to Excel sheets, you can generate reports for the entire college or a specific department by using the top dropdown menu before clicking Download PDF (Selected Academic Batch). You can choose between two rendering modes:
Low Performance Mode Faster
Generates a quick PDF built from chart screenshots. It completes almost instantly and downloads directly to your device without extra prompts. However, the charts are lower-resolution raster images.
High Performance Mode Recommended
Our premium mode that builds a highly polished, typeset report with sharp, scalable vector charts and a full academic layout. It briefly opens your browser's print dialog and simply choose "Save as PDF" to export.
Accuracy Disclaimer
Our extraction engine has been rigorously tested across a vast number of KTU PDFs. However, the nature of university-issued documents is complex and full of unexpected exceptions, edge cases, and structural variations.
- Always manually verify the parsed data and PDF reports before using them for official, statutory, or accreditation purposes.
- If you encounter any anomalies, please report them to our team so we can continuously refine the algorithm.
